About Me

To me, travel is about freedom. As long as I am on the road, I feel that I am still living a real life. Because life is finite so why don’t we just do what we want and find the true happiness.

And for me, happiness is a journey, not a destination.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to stay in Airbnb, hostel or fellow's house to make me easily exploring the place and not disturbing anyone. It was not until April,2019 when I started Couchsurfing during my long trip to Italy. It is probably better when a local helps me out and discover the country in another point of view. Plus, I realized that kindness is everywhere so we should open our mind and take it. Life is short but sweet for certain, right?

Music, Movies, and Books

A historical story or the legend is really attractive for me. I love mysterious stuff

I watched a lot of films and series but it is hard for me to decide which one is the most favorite, could be Your Name, The Grave of Fireflies or In this corner of the world.

I used to be a book worm but my job distracts me a lot.

At work, I listen mostly instrumental music but when I am crazy, I coudl dance with any kinds of music. My favorite composer is Hans Zimmer, Joe Hisaishi, Radwimps

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Go back to Germany on cargo planes during the peak of the Covid pandemic
Riding my bike across the Black Forest in Germany
Hitchhiking through Provence, France
Trekking through a forest to a deserted beach in Viet Nam

Teach, Learn, Share

I will take you around Hamburg and show you some interesting things about this city

Nothing is better than drinking beer in my balcony and talking about anything you know.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am willing to share my photo collection that I make during the stay in Europe.
Besides, I can cook some Vietnamese food for you ( plz don't ask me to cook Phở, i will definitely spend the whole day just for the soup, haha)
