Overview
About Me
I grew up on the outskirts of Pretoria (South Africa) with a South African father, a French mother and three older siblings. I can speak both french and english but I must admit my french isn't as fluid as my english. At the moment (2015) I'm taking a gap year in France where I'm deciding on what to tertiary studies to pursue in 2016.
2015 is my year of liberty and I want to travel travel travel!! Planning a big ol' backpacking bananza across South America late this year!!
If pictures are worth a thousand words, then Instagram is my biography. I love taking wacky pictures of my travelling. To get a better impression of me, my profile is Ben_Trollope.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Anything with a good jive will get me on the dance floor.
Movies: Thriller, action and sci-fi are top.
Books: I guess if I had to name one, Scar Tissue: Autobiography of Anthony Kiedis was pretty awesome.
(OH and the Alchemist by Paulo Coelho!! It was crazy good for such a short read!!)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I backpacked for two and a half months around the Adriatic sea (Italy, Greece, Albania, Montenegro and Croatia). It doesn't seem too grand but three months earlier I was finishing high school so it was an enormous growing experience. I mean, who knew bread was so cheap?!
Meeting so many contrasting people, hitch-hiking and wild camping are things I will never forget.
Teach, Learn, Share
My mission is to learn how to learn how to cook from different cultural perspectives. Even if you think you can make a sandwich with a certain panache, I would love to hear about it
