About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet people with a different perspective, and see as much as I can along the way.

ABOUT ME

I'm just finishing my first round of college, and have landed a decent job. I'm finally at a point in my life were I want to see some of what the world has to offer. Also, I have been trapped in the south for far too long, and would love an opportunity to see how people live in other locales.

PHILOSOPHY

There is always someone who can present to you something you don't know about, and until I can't stand to meet any more of those people, I have a lot more questions to ask.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm not sure what this "How I participate" section is about.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I actually have no real couchsurfing experience, other than that of standard college living...but I'm looking to change that!

Interests

Storytelling, concerts, road trips, movies, aimless walking, rowing (sculling), hiking, and really good food.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies (primarily): Action, Animated, Sci-Fi

Music: Jazz, Rock, Metal, Easy Listening, Techno (trance? house?), Celtic, Drum + Bass...the list goes on...

Books: Comics, mostly...does that count? What about user manuals?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen people in circumstances much more difficult than my own find peace with themselves and continue to smile while making the very most of their lives.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not a terrible cook, so I can show you what I know. But then again, I don't feel that the ability to loosely follow a recipe is a particularly amazing skill. I guess I'm just picky about food when I'm the one making it.

I deal with computers most of the time, so if there's anything you'd like to know about them... let me know. (not so much networking...I suck with networking.)

I can't say there's anything in particular that I'd like to learn from people, except the background that made them who they are.
