ABOUT ME

Welsh guy working in Sweden, currently a Kayaking/hiking guide for an Eco Tourism company. I'm an Outdoor Instructor/Educator, I teach people how to climb, kayak, sail, canoe, navigate and lead expeditions! It's alright, it's taking me places :P
Really easy going, love a good conversation about anything and everything! Play guitar (not well), just mainly love to be spontaneous, and will give anything a go!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love community, I love meeting local people who know how things run. It's the best way to learn about the culture and places, to find out about their experiences whilst making your own.

Interests

My passion in life is outdoor recreation and adventures. I've studied outdoor activities and education for 6years. If you climb, slackline, skydive or hike prepare to talk endlessly about all the relevant topics. I love sketchy situations where it could be serious consequences or just a bad ass photo. I also once took part in an all French Acro yoga session with hippies and it was pretty fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

Appreciate every type of music, but some music can be tricky to! Need to watch more movies, feel like I’ve missed out on a lot the last few years! ‘The Alchemist’ will always be my favourite book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In February 2016 I flew to Malawi with my dad to see a friend and her charity (Temwa) . We spent 8 days non stop traveling north through Malawi visiting rural communities and seeing the projects and programs the charity is involved in to helping these communities. Emotional, tiring and inspiring on a whole!
I want to create an expedition in Malawi to raise money for the Temwa charity.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can offer a range of weird conversations Welsh things, traveling stories.
I can try and teach your little Welsh or Swedish, but my own knowledge of it is a little limited.
If there's a slackline close by I can teach you the ways of the line, or maybe a little bit of guitar!

What I Can Share with Hosts

A comfortable down to earth surfer who will bend over backwards to help out in any way I can!
