Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hope to be a good guest, like when you visit the forest and leave only footprints, but with a bit more conversational skills than most trees posses ('cept Oak trees of course).
I hope to be a good host, by providing a comfortable respite for my guests and entertainment around the city when I am able. I had a great time surfing the west coast on my bike trip last year and I hope I can return the generosity of my hosts to other members of the couch surfing community.
That said, I must admit to some interest in philosophy, religion, and psychology. Really its just an idle hobby, but if I end up drinking and am with sappy enough company it might just become a long winded conversation to no real effect (you know how those things go). And I might come off as a bit of a know it all. So if that should happen, just shoot me down with some wry and quick remark and I'll know I had it comming.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Definitely the week I spent with my good friend Lynsee Melchi. She had a couch on the porch and let me stay their for a week of beautiful weather down at U of I. I was so calm and happy. Best of all I made a really killer sandwich for her and had a nice conversation on the porch just before she went off to interview for yet another scholarship.
Turns out she got that scholarship and low and behold the Roatary club is paying for her to go to vet school in South Africa which was a dream of hers since she was a little girl.
I'm telling you I can make a mean sandwich.
Since joining CS, I've had a few chances to meet interesting people: a psychedelic surferbum med student at UC Irving, a superhuman b-ballin' olive picker at Caltech, a young married couple of christian adventurers in Fayetteville, and the director of the Texas Rose Documentary at Stanford.

Enseña, aprende, comparte
I could talk your ear off about a variety of nerdy subjects, from technology, biology, economics, history, religion, math and philosophy. If you are inclined I might school you at some backgammon too.
