ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Benjamin, Keith Richard is actually my second name which my father gave me in his passion for the Rolling Stones (Keith Richard is the lead guitarist). I was born in Hamburg and I am a "true Hamburger", which means my grand-ancestors were also born and raised here. My grandma is sitting on the couch with me at the moment!
I have studied International Business Economics in Maastricht, the Netherlands - the place where they made the Euro. I spent an exchange semester in Colombia, learnt Spanish, and travelled through Central America to Mexico. In my Masters, I have specialized in "Sustainable Finance", two words that are rarely spelled out together. Let's meet for a cup of tea and I tell you everything about it!

Currently, I am planning a large itinerary from Japan to China, Iran and Russia (broadly). Would you like to be my host?

Couchsurfing is a great platform to either host travelled people and feel travelled, or to visit other people in foreign countries - and actually travel! There is a difference between going on vacation and traveling, and Couchsurfing is a way to truly get in touch with the culture and vibes of the places one visits.

兴趣

I am one of those guys who is hardly good at something, but I keep pursuing what I pursue. At the moment it is mostly, you guessed it, traveling!
I used to play E-Base in a music band, but recently gave up on it since we spread out to study our things. I still really like to listen to music of all kinds, from Jazz and Bossa Nova to Classic, Hip-Hop, and Techno, and whatever there might be. Good music means quality of life!
During my studies, I also picked up on various martial arts, such as Krav-Maga and Jiu-Jitsu, but I left the city again and so I gave up on that as well. What a shame!
