I'm a seller of used books and antique ephemera. I write songs and carve spoons and write poems and stories and read a lot. I appreciate slow travel, slow food, honest and in depth communication and relationship. I like real things. I don't like imitation.

I'm very concerned about the future of the planet and I'm interested in participating in a community that values nature and sustainability.

Every morning upon finishing breakfast I carry my mug of coffee out to my fire escape where I spend the next two hours (or as much as I can get) immersed in some novel or another. Recently: Sons and Lovers, Steppenwolf, Colum Mccann, Steinbeck, Murakami, Fowles, Dickens etc.
Much non-fiction too.

I love Woody Allen's movies (especially from the late 70's and late 80's) and others.
