My name is Ben! I'm traveling through Latin America right now and having the time of my life. I'm a very small time comedian. I've done stand up in Phoenix and Salt Lake City and I hope to do stand up in even more places!

I've had some travel experience in India and Bolivia but I'm getting to know the rest of Central and South America now.

I also like to think that I'm funny.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really love meeting new people and staying in a home as opposed to a hostel. I'm not a bad cook and I'm very nice! At least, I think so.

Interests

I've been on a writing team for a small movie and done stand up comedy in a couple of places in the United States. I love to laugh and make people laugh.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music but especially hip hop and pop. But I also don't hate on anyone else's tastes. I'll seriously listen to anything.

I love movies. Obviously I think Romantic Comedies are truly the greatest cinematic art form but other kinds are also great.

I love books too. I'm carrying my kindle with me. See if there's anything you'd like to read on there. I'd be happy to share!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I visited the Bodhi tree in Bodh Gaya India where Siddhartha Gautama became the Buddha. It was by far one of my favorite experiences in an absolutely insane but wonderful country.

I can cook. I'm not a professional chef or anything like that but I'm not too bad if I say so myself. I'd be happy to show you some tips! I'm also funny and good at public speaking. I'm also fluent in both Spanish and English. So I can help if you need help with either one of those.

I really want to learn hoe to make local dishes, family recipes things like that.. If you know any, please share them with me!
