"Be the change that you want to see in this world" - Mahatma Gandhi

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Things happen for a reason. Humans are social creatures, and I have always been interested in knowing more about the world, the universe, how humans interact, different cultures, languages, geographic regions etc. since young. The thought of meeting someone new excites me. In short, I love to have friends from all over the GLOBE!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have neglected this space for over a year. Initially started off due to friends who are on the site, but never had the initiative to maintain constant contacts within the site.. Until the day through mutual friends, which re-ignited the interest in Couchsurfing as he shared his exciting experiences. Many people have hosted me along the way, and likewise I've the fortune to host a great number of individuals too. All these experiences form a great part of my worldview and we're all global citizens in the making.

Everyone's have their "Top 10s".
Here's my not so adventurous ones (to date):
1. Riding an elephant along a picturesque river (Chiangmai)
2. Travelling alone in Beijing and surprised at my ability to survive aggressive touts
3. Strolling within Ayutthaya, Thailand's ancient capital on a weekday (Ayutthaya)
4. "Natural fish-spa" across the largest natural freshwater lake in the world just beside your own island cottage (Lake Toba, Medan)
5. Water Taxi'd along Mekong River Delta
6. Travelled to most places in Vietnam through a 3-weeks solo backpacking trip
Teach, Learn, Share
I am happy to engage in cross-cultural interactions, politics, music, entertainment. If you are keen in knowing cultural faux-pas and the idea of how it feels like to live in a Sunny, tropical island like Singapore; feel free to chat me up.
So, feel free to ask me about any travel deals around the region exiting Singapore. I will be more than glad to help.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I try to provide a unique gift from Singapore, or I can try to cook. I grow lotsa plants at home and I'll be happy to share gardening tips.
Ultimately though, Couchsurfing is all about the experiences - shared by an intrepid traveller and an engaging conversationalist.
Should I be back at my home base (Singapore), you should definitely look forward to food trips where you get to devour local delicacies when you pop by.
