A student that's currently on exchange in Dublin, Ireland. Originally from Vancouver, BC, Canada, this is my first time in Europe and I'm looking to soak in all the great countries, cultures, and sites!

I'm done school! Currently backpacking Europe :)

I'm an adventurous person that is always willing to try new things. I'm also a foodie, so I absolutely love eating local cuisines wherever I go - I find that the best food places are the ones that are only spread through word of mouth.

I'm looking to do touristy things (e.g. walking tours), but I also want to get a glimpse of what it's like to be a local wherever I am.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Simple:

- Travel all around Europe and see things that I've only seen through the screen of a computer
- Meet amazing people from different cultures - I've had the luxury to meet great people within the CS community and I want to continue that as I travel
- Get a sense of what being a "local" is
- Learn as much as I can!

Interests

I have a very curious mind that loves to learn - whether it be facts, myths, or stories, I find that I can gain something out of anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I shared a meal with a homeless girl back in Vancouver and got to hear her perspective on life and how she ended up where she is and where she wants to be.

Here's the crazy part... At one point, we went to school together.

I believe that creativity is a magical thing. Some say they aren't creative, but I want to prove them wrong because we don't lose creativity - we simply suppress it due to the things we're told, things we see, and things think we know of. If we push ourselves to think beyond what we believe are limitations, that's when creativity happens.

Creative isn't about being all colourful and abstract and artsy. It's the ability to think about things in a wide range of perspectives and adding some of your uniqueness to it.

...yeah, I can get passionate about it.
