About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Soak up different experiences, cultures, sights, sounds, and food. Especially food.

ABOUT ME

I have recently graduated from graduate school and am in the process of moving to Michigan. Before settling in to my new life out there, my friend and I are taking some time to travel the country. I love meeting new people and exploring new things, whether it is an urban center or a backcountry hiking trail.

PHILOSOPHY

"Change is life. Stagnation is death."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I love the philosophy of this website. From my own experience interacting with this community in my travels around Europe, I have recognized how being able to share a city with a local enriches the experience of travel. I have also loved to be able to share a bit of myself and where I come from with every host that I have met.

Interests

Playing/listening to music, trying new foods, exploring new cultures, drinking/brewing beer, hiking/camping, reading, the arts.
