I strongly feel that getting the advice and local knowledge from residents of places you visit makes your time there so much more worthwhile. I love exploring new places, but hate doing it with a thousand other tourists! So the know-how on cool music venues, hidden bars and restaurants, and great events is something that would be a shame to miss out on. Meeting new people and establishing international friendships and connections is absolutely invaluable.

Music: almost anything - my mixes go from one genre to the next, and mostly confuse anyone else listening to them! Seeing unique live music is something I really want to achieve on my travels.

I spent 3 months in Mozambique working towards and earning a PADI Divemaster qualification. This gave me the opportunity to develop as an individual, earn a professional qualification, and be exposed to unbelievable marine life.
