CURRENT MISSION

Just got back to Seattle after 6 months of Europe travel. Now working at a marketing agency, playing sax in a local band, and getting out into the forests and mountains as much as possible.

ABOUT ME

I'm from Texas (Dallas and Austin), and my whole family's from South Africa. Coming from an immigrant family I've always been interested in travel. Over the last few years I've covered over 20 countries and counting.

I've been doing digital marketing for startups and other tech companies. Super into music, concerts, and festivals. I'm spontaneous when it comes to new experiences, so I've been building quite a repertoire of stories. I'm happy to share them if you ask very nicely :)

PHILOSOPHY

I'm intrigued by culture and how it affects people. And how people affect it.

I'm starting to get into meditation and Buddhist thoughts lately.

I surf couches at the moment, but definitely plan to give back when I get my own place in a few months.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed in Portland, Vancouver, Tampa, Bucharest, Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna, Trieste, and Lyon. All great experiences.

Interests

Music (play sax, piano, and sing) currently in a funk jam rock band called Caveman Ego. Concerts, festivals, hosting events, writing, sports (frisbee, soccer, tennis, ping pong), sociology, data, startups, and of course travel whenever possible.
