About Me

Bonjour, Hello, Hallo, Приве́т

I am a Frenchman living in London.

I love wandering around the streets of unknown cities and discovering new restaurants and corners, learning new languages and discovering new things in general.

I work as a marketing consultant/blogger which gives me lots of freedom to explore new topics and learn. I particularly love helping people grow their online business and share their passions with the world.

I'm also interested in stoicism and love reading fantasy books. For several years, I considered The Name of The Wind to be the best fantasy book but I'm now really into the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I met lots of amazing people via Couchsurfing events and made great friends. I'm here to get to know more people and discover new cultures :).

Interests

Besides the topics I mentioned above, I also enjoy trying new teas (especially white tea), learning about human psychology and programming (although I'm hilariously bad at it, I once crashed my own website.)

I regularly get passionate about new things so this list is far from exhaustive :).

  • culture
  • traveling
  • languages
  • volunteering

Music, Movies, and Books

I love The Kingkiller Chronicle, a book that immediately transports me to another world and hope Patrick Rothfuss will publish the third book one day :). In the meantime, I'm discovering the amazing Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson.

I also enjoy more practical books such as The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck and Tiny Beautiful Things.

A Guide to the Good Life: The Ancient Art of Stoic Joy is the book that really got me into Stoicism and totally change my view of this philosophy.

ReWork is a book I enjoy reading again and again because it reminds that work doesn't have to be boring and exhausting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked as a volunteer and taught French to kids in Korea for 7 months during which I met lots of amazing people, learned a new language (that I have now forgotten :D) and discovered my passion for language learning.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be happy to teach you French :). In fact, I'm looking for someone who could help me practice my Russian and German.
