Hi everyone,

travelling and getting to know people from all over the world is one of my passions ever since. That's why I have been travelling nearly every in the past years. And the most amazing and interesting of my trips have always been the people and the nature of the countries.

Luckily, I can make one of my dreams come true now. In July I start a world trip for an entire year travelling through Russia, Mongolia, China, Nepal, India, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Hawaii, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia. That's the plan at least until now ;-).

Let's see where life and people will guide me in the next 12 months.

Be interested in other people and don't be afraid of them. Every single person in this world has so many interesting stories to tell about what they have experienced and what matters to them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After my last backbacking trip to the East Coast of Australia I decided to join couchsurfing to host but also to stay with other couch surfers one day.

Somehow my current hometown Bonn doesn't seem to be so much attractive for couch surfers since I only got one couch request in the past 2 years ;). Maybe because Cologne is only 25 km away and most of the people like to stay there. I hope that I will have the chance to host some couchsurfers after I'll return from my world trip.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like nearly all kinds of music, starting from Singer/Songwriter, acoustic guitar, rock as well as electronic an classical music.

Two of my favorite authors are Hermann Hesse and Harry Mulisch. But I'm also very interested in classical, philosophical and spiritual literature.

Swam with Piranhas in the Amazonas 😀.

I'm always very curious to learn something new from other people whether it's their travel stories or just something that keeps them thinking about a lot ;).

Well, about a lot things I know a little bit (see my interests) that I can teach you if that's enough for you 😉.
