Back working in London after living in the Netherlands and Italy the last couple of years. Whenever I can I like to head to the mountains or Europe for a break. I'm easy going, clean and respectful of other people. Likewise, I love meeting new people and hearing each person's story.

I believe that travelling is all about the people you meet and that includes meeting real, local people from the town/city one is staying in. I have just joined couch surfing but have heard really good things about it from friends and family that are part of this community.

兴趣

I love learning about most things and try to take an interest in things which would not at first appeal to me. The problem is sometimes my enthusiasm doesn't immediately translate into acquiring said skill!

My passion is the great outdoors and have been all over Europe and the Himalayas on many a journey over the years.

My interests vary month by month but depending on what I’m doing and who I’m who don’t time with! But today this occurs to me....

Music: Bit of everything - mostly British of all genres

Non fiction: usually historical - of; capitalism, South Asia, Indic religion, globalization, philosophy, British history. Politics and satire is also a major interest of mine though I have no particular leanings

Fiction: usually existential stuff though otherwise anything by Amitav Ghosh

Having been a traveller for a while has given me a new appreciation of my own country and I love giving insider tips and anecdotes of the British isles for any eager anglophiles.

Ive been told I'm a decent cook! Cooking is something I love doing as I find it very relaxing and take a lot of pleasure cooking for people. I am particularly adept at stews (meat or veggie!). Also pretty easy going and up for good chats over a few beers.

Also can do housework or help with teaching English :)
