ABOUT ME

I am from Australia but have been living abroad for almost 10 years. My friends would say I am very empathetic, always up for a good time, with a lot of energy but also very calm and chilled. I have a very curious nature and new cultures and people fascinate me. When it comes to work I am very professional but on the weekend, I know how to have fun. I also love nature and being active, surfing in summer and snowboarding in winter.

Interests

I have always been interested in traveling and learning as much as I can about different cultures, sub cultures and definitely food! These are my main motivations to travel and one of the most compelling reasons I decided to make documentaries, so I could get to know new cultures on a deeper level. I don't like bouncing across the surface of a new place, which is why knowing people in a city can show you the true nature of that place, far off the tourist trail.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say I have had special experiences everywhere I have been. Sometimes these are inexplicable fleeting moments of magic and other times they've been more profound. I had a few fun nights out with actor Russell Crowe (as my friend is in his band), I met and interviewed the Prince of Cambodia about how reconnecting with the arts is helping a heal the wounds of a damaged nation and I made a joke with Edward Norton in New York that didn't go down so well... basically I have heard many times that I look a little like him and when I asked him if people ask him all the time if he looks like Ben Richards, he just told me to f**k off... nice!
