I enjoy quality food (cooking and eating), quality conversation, and quality parties. I love exploring the outdoors on foot or on a bicycle. I'm always amazed by the friendliness and hospitality of people around the world--I've traveled in India, China, South Africa, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Croatia, Spain, France, England, the Dominican Republic, and Guatemala. I've lived most of my life in the northeastern United States but have spent some significant time in the mountain west.

I'm new to the community and hope to get more involved with both hosting and surfing in the near future!

Interests

I enjoy reading (fiction and nonfiction of all types), writing, and exploring cities and countryside on foot. Documentary films are wonderful. I like to listen to music by the album.
