ABOUT ME

I am a History major at the National University of Singapore, and i will be spending the next half of the year in Sweden on an exchange program!

Also, although my name is Benjamin, many people actually call me Bobby. Its a long story why, and maybe if i have a chance to get to know you better, ill let you know why!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about Couchsurfing from other friends who have done so, and all of them have had positive remarks and experiences with it. I hope to experience it for myself, and help share my own culture and experiences with others!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed in Italy, Germany and France. Fun, memorable, experiences that will become the stories i tell others for the rest of my life :D. I would like to share them with you if i have the chance to :)

兴趣

I enjoy sports, such as soccer, rugby, swimming, running and cycling. However, i am small sized, so i have stopped rugby, and instead moved on to touch rugby.. to save me the pain and injuries :P

music: especially piano and guitar! I grew up learning piano, and i picked up guitar myself. I enjoy playing them for leisure, from time to time!

I took a module in school about art history, and that has gotten me interested in art.paintings and sculptures(especially from the renaissance). Recently i visited the Venice Biennale, and since then i have been trying to understand and appreciate the often(to me) confusing and bizarre modern art. I also collect comics, which i consider to be an artform of itself.

Nature! the one thing that i really love is scuba diving, its an amazing experience if you have had the opportunity to do it!

History, of course. Its all around us, and i find it a fascinating subject :)
