Hello Friends I have yet to meet,

My name is Ben and I like books, learning about peoples lives, and pushing myself physically and mentally. I am currently getting my Master's in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Photovoltaics (solar cells) and semi-conductor device's. I want to help the world and I believe giving people access to the internet and to a greater extent, knowledge, is the best way to do that. I want to live my life in a way that other's would want to emulate, and I do my best to encourage others in their passions and through their moments of struggle.

Things I'm good at:
Being Encouraging to friends. Catching popcorn in my mouth. Engaging with introverts.

Things I'm bad at:
I'm bad at bingewatching T.V. shows, remembering to mail birthday cards, and always trying to show new music to people. I am also terrible at spelling and grammar so your english if probably better than mine.

I don't get to meet people outside of my immediate circle that much, but any time I do I get inspired and enjoy life that much more. I hope to make new friends and share my love of life with them!

Kung fu, Meditation, and mindfulness

Music & Nature also keep me sane. I can't imagine a life without the sounds that people have exposed me to, and I hope to be able to expose them too other people as well.

I also enjoy learning about programming and sustainable technologies, specifically in regards to incorporating them into places where they are not now. This includes farming and how farms interact with people. I keep a mostly plant based diet and value encouraging others to adopt measures that encourage happiness and health

Music: The Strokes, Muse, MF Doom, Dr. Dog, MadVillain, Quasimoto, The Black Keys, I worked at a radio station so I can get weirder if you want me to :P

Movies: Any movie with awesome cinematography, I think of movies as a painting so films like the Others, Oceans Eleven, and Snatch make me happy. I also can quote zoolander like i wrote it or something.

Books: Tao Te Ching, Ishmael, The Belgariad, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenence, Discworld.
