Overview
About Me
I'm based in Australia, but have been teaching Grade 2 in an international school in Nepal for the last two years.
I love meeting new people (especially travellers) and trying new things. I like photography, a good book, quality music, funny stories, coffee, laughing and living.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been let into a local's world, made amazing new friends, and laughed lots. I like seeing new ways of doing things and getting a real taste of a place. One day I'd also like to show people the same of my home town.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've learned Arabic from a Sudanese refugee, bought cheese from a himalayan yak farmer in Nepal, played chess with a swami in India, spent 30 hours on a train, helped a cow give birth, cared for the dying, ridden an elephant through the jungle, and eaten a traditional meal with Swiss goat herders. Bring on the next amazing thing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you what the settings on your camera do, the history of the Nepali kukri, the genetics of zebra finches, some guitar chords, and how to make a great coffee. Always keen to learn something from someone else!
