About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To repay my dues to the CS community
ABOUT ME
Like all noble CSers I'm a bit of a philanthropist, a bit of a people person and (hopefully) a bit of fun.
The cliches of interest in learning new things, meeting friendly people and talking about weird and wonderful adventures apply just as much to me as they do most CSers. I am especially happy enjoying good company over a few drinks as the sun goes down.
PHILOSOPHY
Love - or at least try to love as much as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I feel I owe the world some couches after a mamoth trip around the world. If I can put you up I will- though I lead a pretty busy work life. Weekends are you're best shot at getting a couch.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Broadening horizons couldn't be easier
Interests
Life, the universe and everything.
Why cheese smells.
Why the sky is blue.
Why England always lose at cricket.
- cheese
- drinking
- cricket
Music, Movies, and Books
You will usually find me reading a book about travel or history. If you havent already, read 'The Places In Between' by Rory Stewart- outstanding.
Big fan of Muse, but will listen to almost anything- not so much on the old hip hop and rap though...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The laws of gravity do not apply to me on Saturdays.
Teach, Learn, Share
What can I teach? Well I know Sanskrit, Greek and Latin, but let's face it that's not hugely entertaining. I've worked in leadership and personnel develoment which means I'm interested in talking about you, and how you think you can get the most out of life- always willing to give people time to talk about things that are important to them.
What do I want to learn? As much as possible! But mostly I want to figure out what really makes us happy.. deep.
