Overview
About Me
Born and raised in the Caribbean and currently residing in Holland for my studies. I've done my best to travel around a lot during my college years and hope to keep doing so. I currently work at a shooterbar in Rotterdam. It's a lot of fun and you get to meet great people! I'm a relaxed guy who's always up for some fun/adventure and not quick to judge; I live and let live.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was travelling in Colombia with a friend of mine and she used couchsurfing to find us places to stay. The people we stayed with absolutely great and it was a truly a great experience. It was very different (and much better/more personal) than a hotel or hostel and you truly get to experience the city in a very different manner. I managed to make friends who I still keep in touch with. As soon as I got back, I signed up!

Music, Movies, and Books
My musical tastes are honestly all over the place. I love anything latino, like merengue, bachata, salsa, reggeaton. But the feeling is the same for punkrock, pop-punk, rock, ska, classical, samba, bossa nova, Reggae, dancehall and the various types of music from my own island. (Bubbling and ritmo kombina, among others.)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I found a ridiculously good deal (a mistake fare) that took me from paris to Sydney, Barcelona, Singapore and London in the span of 6 days. All flights were overnight, and I only spent a max of 24 hours at each destination (except for Barcelona, which was an overnight), whilst sleeping during the flights. I flew 36000 miles over the course of 6 days.
I managed to take 2 such trips, the other was Paris, Dubai, Madrid, Johannesburg and London in 5 days.
-Took a small boat from Kuna Yala/San Blas to Capurgana (near the Colombia Panama Border), which didn't quite go as planned. Boat was overloaded, had some engine troubles as well, couldn't make it to the border to get our stamps before they closed, so we had to spend the night in an indigenous village (where we almost capsized in the pitch black night) before continuing on the following morning.
I met 2 Colombian travelers who then invited me to join them at their Cabañas in a village a bit further south (Trigana) the following night. it was incredible and wouldn't have happened if it weren't for this strange series of events!
