Présentation
À propos de moi
Howdy! Currently traveling through New Zealand. Just finished building out a campervan in Oz while road tripping through. Headed back there soon to see a bit more.
I tend to roam. The urge to travel is a constant with me and I hope that is always the case. I was born in Tennessee but spent most of my childhood in Michigan. I went to school and studied two majors, Drawing and Spanish. For the last several years I've spent most of my year helping to run a summer camp for kids in northern Ontario, Canada. During the off-season I do a lot of different things.
I like going out of doors, hike, camp, see wilderness. I like to listen to stories from anyone (travelers always seem to have a few great ones) and I guess I have a few myself, although I like hearing ideas for the future even more.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I'm a frequent traveler who is always happy to meet new people and also to save a buck where I can, which seems like exactly what Couchsurfing is about. Not only save bucks, but therefor have more of them to spend them on real experiences or things I will enjoy or remember, not hotels that I don't need.
I'll be on the road for much of 2015, during which I plan to couchsurf lots, meet folks, see places. Once I get settled and have a place I hope to be able to return the favor.
Centres d'intérêt
I'm especially fond of art and travel, but there are so many more. I don't have many disinterests. I'll try anything twice.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I don't like having to pick favorites. I like stuff. Lots of stuff. All sorts of stuff.
I think just about any movie or music is worth a watch or listen. John Steinbeck, Italo Calvino, and Kurt Vonnegut are a few writers that I really, really like.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
Pick just one? Come on. No way. That's unpossible.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
Language is a lot of fun. I speak English and pretty good Spanish and tiny little pieces of other things that I have learned while traveling. Learning more about these or any others is great. Adding a third language to the list is something I want to do, but I haven't been able to decide on one.
There's a lot I'd like to do and a lot I'd like to learn. The list is infinite, really.
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
When I am not working at a summer camp, some of the jobs I have had recently are as a furniture maker, theater set designer and builder, art teacher, and scenic artist for plays and film. Those are the skills that I can prove I have on paper, but there is a lot more beyond all this stuff. I'm almost always truly happy to help and lend a hand where I can.
