I’m a Psychology student from Graz, Austria currently finishing my exchange semester in Calgary and am looking forward to doing some traveling after that. This will be my first time traveling by myself, so that’s why I
thought I’d give Couchsurfing a try. Haven’t done nearly as much traveling as I’d like to do, so I’m hoping CS can help me with that.

Not really sure what to tell you about myself. I’d describe myself as fun-loving, laidback, and open-minded, but those are probably the attributes most represented throughout CS. I enjoy people with a sense of humour that I can have a laugh with. When traveling, I’m interested in both exploring cities and outdoor activities. I’m happy to go out partying/clubbing (if I have the money for it), just for a coffee/beer at a nice café/bar/pub, go for a hike, go camping, or just chill out and relax.

My passion for traveling probably stems in part from having been in the scout movement for more than 18 years. This allowed me to participate in multiple international camps and thereby meeting people from around the world.

To meet new people and thus allow for a more interesting and fun journey. Hoping to get more of an "inside view" of the places I'm visiting through meeting locals or find travel buddies along the way.

Favorite shows: The Wire, Sopranos, Twin Peaks, Mad Men, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

Don't read as much as I'd like to, but to name some books that left an impression on me: Siddhartha, Steppenwolf, Der Prozess (The Trial), One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, American Psycho.
