About Me
CURRENT MISSION
West Coast Road Trip May 1-19, 2025 from Central British Columbia to Southern California.
ABOUT ME
I am an adventure enthusiast. Whether it happens on my own doorstep or lost in the middle of an unknown country, adventure SHOULD be my middle name...but it's actually John.
I am a very calm and quiet person, a true introvert at heart, although I am not shy in the least. I don't typically party, drink, or use any other substances, but always enjoy a cultural experience!
I prefer calm over chaotic. I want to see more of the world than would ever be possible.
I have been through a lot in life and still keep adventuring. Let's get together and share stories?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the philosophy and practice of couchsurfing. I started when I was young and could barely afford hostels. Now that I am older and can afford to travel who I want, I still enjoy the CS community and persona. Adventurers and open hearts are my people.
I have Surfed some couches in Europe, Canada, and the USA! All were great experiences and I was hosted by kind loving people. I have also hosted some awesome people in Canada as well as California.
Interests
Photography, travel, meeting different and GENUINE people, snowboarding, surfing, sunshine, fitness, education. Anything that makes my heart beat faster!!! I love doing things I think are un-repeatable and make for good stories.

I am not much of a media person really...I read a lot as of late. I usually manage to devour a book a month or so.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bodybuilding competition, cliff jumping, a few motorbike crashes, bungee jumping, getting married at 20...
I've gone a from a near failure in first year uni to the top of my class 2 years later. I have travelled more than most people I know, and finally feel like I fit in with my family...a large task in itself.
I saw some goats climbing tress in Morocco...THAT was amazing.
