ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in San Diego, California but have lived in the San Francisco bay area for the last 4 years. I spent all of last year living in Argentina and seeing as much of South America as possible. Then some time in Brazil backpacking and six months in Mexico City working. I have a penchant for long, uncomfortable bus rides. I'm constantly looking for new experiences and new people to share them with. I like cooking (and eating!), listening to music, meeting people from other places, speaking Spanish and Portuguese, being outside, lying in parks, scaling mountains, swimming in the ocean and trying anything.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a collection of moments - not all of them have to be happy but the sum of them is hopefully positive. I want my life to be as varied and colorful as possible and I strive to spend as much time as possible outside of my comfort zone.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

traveling, looking to meet new people and conocer nuevas culturas. I hosted a couple of people in my apartment in Buenos Aires, then bounced around for the next two years or so but am now hoping to have people at my place in SF!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

stayed with some amazing people in brazil, met some more great people in mexico. i have had friends from other trips stay with me while living in buenos aires. hoping to do some more hosting soon.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

waking up on a freezing bus somewhere between potosi and la paz and sticking my head out the window to see the most incredible array of stars framed by the fiercest lightning i have ever witnessed. being the only person awake on the bus to see it.
