I am a recent college grad, traveling around Asia after a year of teaching English in Thailand. I like to cook, go camping, learn new languages, read anything I can get my hands on, and watch movies.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just getting started (I created an account years ago but haven't used it yet!) but my sister is an incredibly enthusiastic couchsurfer and I want to give it a try. Sounds like a great way to experience new places

Intereses

these change often--but right now I want to learn more about traditional Chinese medicine, environmental conservation, mental health in the US and around the world, the enlightenment, cultural history of the US.

climbed mt. Kilimanjaro a couple years ago--and more recently a 10 day silent meditation course in southern Thailand.

Whistling really loud with your fingers, knots of all kinds, English language (perhaps some Hebrew and Latin too), hummus--I have a great hummus recipe and would happily make it every day of the week. I have also been practicing my thai cooking as well!--pad thai, papaya salad, tom yum (hot and sour soup), mango sticky rice and I have recipes to pass on!
