I'm brand new to this.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed on a couch in Amherst, MA this past summer while attending an organic farming seminar. I wasn't a member but kind of jumped on board with some friends who had set up the couches. The folks we stayed with were real kind hosts.

Interests

sustainable agriculture. honest music. russian lit. Having practiced in many traditions of meditation, I repeatedly return to the zen practice of zazen. I've never been a car guy, though recently diesel engines have been sparking my interest. Food. Real Food. Slow Food. Tasty Food.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Worked one summer as a Fire Lookout at Hickman Butte in the Mt. Hood National Forest. I didn't see anyone for weeks at a time. I did way too much reading and writing when I should've been developing my relationships with the Black Bear and coyote communities.
