ABOUT ME

I'm a twenty four year old, eastern Canadian kid, who is searching for adventure and inspiration wherever I can find it. I grew up in Halifax, and have lived there for most of my life. When I haven't been in Halifax, I have lived in Brazil and Quebec for short periods of time. I have recently returned to Nova Scotia after an amazing 4 and a half month journey through Europe.

PHILOSOPHY

No matter the ups, and downs, I feel like life is something special - that should be valued day in and day out. For this reason, I'm not someone who is obsessed with fame or fortune. I would much rather live modestly, with people to love, than to be rich, and lonely. This doesn't mean that I don't value hard work, because I do. I simply believe that a balance should be struck between work and play. Many things are worth the time - many are not. But most importantly, I believe that the most amazing and important thing in life is to see the happiness of family, friends, and perfect strangers.

I have been spreading the good word about CS to practically everyone I meet. I have stayed with some amazing people, and am looking forward to getting a place where I can return the favor by hosting the fantastic people of the CS community.

I really will give anything a try once, and enjoy music from many genres. I often listen to folk, rock, and hip hop. However, my love is electronic - Deep house, electro, trance, minimal, dubstep, italodisco, disco etc. Such as: Deadmau5, Ellen Allien & Apparat, Fake Blood, The Knife, Fever Ray, Giorgio Moroder, Glass Candy, Mylo, Sebastian, Justice, Daft Punk, Soulwax, Vitalic, Boys Noize, MSTRKRFT, the Twelves, Digitalism, Valerie Collective, ETC.
BOOKS
For the most part, I enjoy mystery, suspense and thrillers.

Swam with sharks and turtles off a tiny island in Panama. Rode a zipline through the jungle tree-tops of Costa Rica. Ran in the rain and lighting on a beach in Brazil. Skied over a treacherous cliff in the Canadian Rockies. Whale-watched off the coast of Nova Scotia. Spent Christmas in Paris with my close family.Flew to London, from Canada, for a two day rendezvous with an old friend. And of course, traveled across Europe with the couchsurfing community.
