I live in Sarasota, FL USA since October 2014. I came to Sarasota after accepting offer of employment with Sarasota County EIT / GIS Services to be part of the GIS (Geographic Information Systems) group that offers GIS and Mapping services to the County Govenrment. Befrore that I was living and working in Iza, Boyacá, Colombia. I am married and my wife joined me in Sarasota after almost two years. We are now together and travel together. We have no Children or Pets.

I am following up on a recommendation from a friend who is a couchsurfer... I would like to try it out since, I have been automobile free (by choice) since 2009 and it seems like a very sound and appropriate lodging alternative, specially when travelling to see my folks in New Jersey from Sarasota, having always to leave the evening prior to my flight (usually at 6 AM or 7 AM) either from Tampa, Orlando or St Pete and having to wait for the flight all night at the airport :(
