Overview
About Me
I grew up on Martha's Vineyard and was a beach lifeguard for nine years. I studied Engineering Physics at CU Boulder where I researched liquid crystal technology, atomtronics, and Bose-Einstein Condensate. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Aerospace Engineering at CU Boulder and am working at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics. I enjoy building and talking to satellites, machining rocket parts, and launching things into space. I also enjoy rock climbing, dirt biking, and snowboarding.
In the Fall 2015, I spent three months backpacking Europe - total of 14 countries - and volunteered at a refugee camp in Greece.
In the Fall 2016, I spent four months backpacking SE Asia and purchased a motorcycle for $200 which I drove from Saigon to Hanoi, then across the border through Laos and to the Thai border.
