ABOUT ME

I'm a transman, so if you're not supportive of LGBTQ people, we won't be a good fit to meet up. I've taken a couple of cross country U.S. road trips, been to Zambia, Europe, and all over Asia. I live in Taiwan working as an English teacher and am just finishing up my master's degree in International Relations. On my first trip across the country I randomly stayed with some awesome couch surfers in Omaha, Nebraska who turned me onto this site. I like to paint, hike, cycle, read, and cook.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been inactive in the community for a while, but I used to host and surf. I want get back involved and have people feel welcome to come over now that I'm finishing my degree and will have more free time. I am traveling to Australia in September and October and will hopeully meet up with some people on that trip.

I definitely love painting. Check out my instagram soy_bennett I want to meet new people and have as many adventures as possible (reading has poisoned me, creating too much desire for the wild and unexpected but i love it). I also like to run, cycle, and cook/eat vegan food.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Movies: way too many to list here. I really enjoy getting together with friemds, watching a film and having a good discussion afterwards.

Music: Indie rock and David Bowie

Books: Lots of non fiction on politics, history, and biology. Science fiction has been an escape while working on my degree.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I went on a canoeing safari on the lower Zambezi river and camped on islands in the middle of the river surrounded by the animals. It was amazing and terrifying all in one and probably my favorite life experience.
