HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My couch is almost always available. And I use couchsurfing occasionally to find overnight accomodations when I'm traveling, and to meet new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted lots of interesting people from around the world who were traveling through my cities! I also stayed once with a host in Los Angeles and had a nice experience.

Interessi

I work on software to help people in foreign countries get around Internet blocking, so that people in China and Iran can access sites like Facebook and Youtube that are blocked in their country. I love my job and I've made many good friends around the world!

I volunteer as a math tutor at several different high schools. I love helping people get comfortable with math.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Standing on the edge of the Grand Canyon. From forty feet away, you can't even see the canyon is there, and then in the last ten steps it just appears before your eyes.

Exploring the underground city beneath the sidewalks in Seattle. (The city was raised up one by one street level in the 1800's, and the original sidewalks and stores are still there, buried underground.)
