Hi There - i'm Benedikt, 41 years young - and just about to enter this nice page ;)
since 11 years i am working as a social worker with young kids and adults.
after living in Stuttgart, Berlin and Tübingen i moved back here in my hometown - Metzingen (Outlet City) -
a nice little town half an hour away from Stuttgart near to the swabian albs -
in my free time - at the moment a full year sabattical - i love to travel the world -
(in the last 25 years i travelled all over Europe, Asia, Central- and South America, Australia
and parts of Africa) - often all around the oceans for surfing - but i do like the mountains too ;)
Apart from that i'm into lots of Funsports like Skateboarding, Snowboarding and Downhill -
and Motorbiking off course! Becoming a bit older i recently started with running and a bit of gym :)
In the evenings i like to meet people, have some beers, and up for pub-sports (table-socker, dart, pool)
I do like cooking, reading, photography, old furniture and in part time i spent a lot of time on building sites.
Often out in the nature exploring too -
i'm a very socialised person - allways on the run meeting my family and friends around!
Most of the time i don't really feel like up 40 - every now and then still looking for some action + festivals,
dancing in good clubs to good music - MUSIC is another important part in my life - apart from clubbing i prefer to listen to lots of guitar based music in my free time at home!
I'm more an alternative living person - still catching up, what life provides for me -
and allways up for some new stuff ;)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Ego point: I just decided to plan a bigger Motorbike trip through Europe - mostly Austria and some eastern Countries - so after checking lots of booking.com pages i thought it would be a nice thing to get more in touch with some locals + sharing some time with new people - so here i am -
giving point: after a long periode of a relation i split up beginning of the year -
my place back home is quite big and it would be nice to share it as a host!
In all my years traveling it was always nice to stay at the people i met -
so in this case it would be a nice idea to give something back -
and off course to get in touch with new interesting people.
(in fact i was already thinking about to rent a part of my flat - but it wouldn't be the same -
and it's not really the money i'm looking for! ;)

There are always nice experiences coming up -
if you look a bit closer you can find some each day.
at the moment i realize all the nice nature spots around me are a lot closer then i thought ;)
seeing my little niece's and nephew's grow up is a long term great experience!
adrenaline experiences and music keep me alive ...
