ABOUT ME

Laid back, hospitable, & friendly (not to toot my own horn). I like to wonder about things, especially things that are peculiar and have no rhyme or reason to them.

I enjoy the feeling (and sound) of really gooey mud in between my toes.

I love children. When you look at them, you can so clearly see so many of our "adult" struggles played out. But their hearts are so pure that in the span of 10 minutes. They can cry, they can be angry, they can be spiteful, but then they can forgive and resume their play. It usually takes me weeks to go through those processes!

Also, in the blink of an eye, they can penetrate your heart with their incredibly wise words.

This is a great way to meet people and explore the intricacies of a culture or place which you couldn't normally do from a hotel room.

I love this concept and I love the opportunities it brings!

Interests

I enjoy soccer, the outdoors, going around for walks, drinking a few tasty beers, watching movies, witty humor, and people.

I'm not much of a partier, I'd rather enjoy the company of a few people with rich conversation. Generally, I prefer depth over breadth, but I know that rigidity doesn't get you too far in this world.

I love hearing people's stories and how they got to where they are in life (whether physically or mentally).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I have seen are these ice caves that are in Northern Wisconsin. They are formed off of Lake Superior. I have never seen such an incredible display of dynamic artwork in my life. Each chamber had different and incredible formations. It was stunning.
