Overview
About Me
A few notes:
We live in Loveland, Colorado - but this is NOT the Loveland ski area, which is near Georgetown, Colorado. We are near Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park though!
We do have a large dog and he loves new people! If you have any allergies or worries about a large dog, then this wouldn't be the best place to stay for you :)
We tend to plan only a month out for hosting as well, so if you're planning more than a month ahead of time the response will most likely be a maybe.
CURRENT MISSION
We are currently identifying our dream jobs that are location independent and how we can travel the world!
ABOUT ME
We met at Central Michigan and have been together since 2004 moving across the US and back for various employment "opportunities." We got married on 6/26/10.
We love to have fun. Favorite outdoor activities include camping, biking, kayaking/canoeing, and random walks. Favorite indoor activities include reading, board/card games, and browsing the web. Music and movie tastes are fairly eclectic.
While our travel experience has been limited so far, we love meeting new people and learning about other cultures.
PHILOSOPHY
There is a distinct difference between existing and living. Maybe this life is all there is, maybe it isn't. None of us will know until that time comes. When my time comes, I want to know that I LIVED.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Learned about the project from the blog Man vs. Debt. After browsing the site we thought it looked like an amazing opportunity to expand our horizons and share in the CS mission which we strongly agree with.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have hosted a few surfers and had our first crash (thank you Mayhem Manor!) at the awesome Chicago Couch Crash 2011. We also spent a month couchsurfing through Ireland and met some amazing people!
