I first heard about couchsurfing one night into my East Coast Surf&Peace tour (summer 2020) surfing the entire east coast of the USA planning to sleep in my van the whole summer when I downloaded the app the next day it changed my trip/life! I only slept in the van one other night the whole summer! Staying with locals and meeting new friends and bonding and spending quality time with my hosts made the trip and I hope to help repay back by hosting and also using it on plenty of more surf trips to come:)
