About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel everywhere I can, for as long as I can

ABOUT ME

I am 24. I am a layed back guy. I love meeting new people. I am a Huge nerd when it comes to philosophy, and most other things for that matter.

I love meeting new and interesting people. I love the outdoors: hiking, swiming, soccer, all of it. I like a good story.
I am currently living in Gunpo-si South Korea teaching English

PHILOSOPHY

People are important. Existence preceeds essence. Live and learn. Treat others the way I would like to be treated. Have fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have not hosted anyone, yet. I have surfed once in Belfast for about 3 days. It was fantastic.
My current living situation is not terribly conducive for surfing. I am always up for a drink, a hike, or the opportunity to show someone around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed for about 3 days in Belfast. The person who hosted me was great. She even showed me around Belfast. There were a couple of other Surfers staying with her as well. We all chipped in and cooked meals.

Interests

Reading, all types of music, hicking, swiming, camping, being outdoors in general, movies, philosophy, drinking, meeting new people, and traveling!

Music, Movies, and Books

currently reading "The Open Society and its Enemies" by Karl Popper, and some David Sedaris book whose title escapes me. =P

Last movie I saw was Transformers 2 (which was horrible)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Graduate from College... I think a lot of my grade school teachers lost some money.

Backpack through Ireland and the UK.

Teach, Learn, Share

I do not have many transferable skills... I am well acquainted with Philosophy. Particularly: Sartre, Existentialism, Ethics, Taoism, the Pre-Socratics, some continental, some epistemology... if i don't know it, i can probably point you in the right direction.
I would love to learn more about all of the above subjects!

If you come to Gunpo, I could show you around. At the very least, we could get lost together.
