Interests

I'm pretty musical - there's an assortment of instruments scattered around my flat. My piano's my prized possession, though; I play every day, sometimes with bands, sometimes not, it's all good!

Also writing - I'd like to write a travel book some day. No that's wrong, I'm GOING to write it one day!

I play badminton, squash, table tennis, sometimes football, sometimes jog. And very occasionally I try to learn some Spanish.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So I'm snorkelling in the Galapagos islands, just swimming around... I see a school of fish, fairly large and with tall bodies, very colourful. "They're pretty cool", I think, so I swim towards them for a closer look. There's thousands of them, completely blocking my view beyond... Until when I was just a few yards away the school parted like a pair of curtains to reveal a shark! An actual shark, sharking it up while I'm swimming just a few yards away!

It wasn't a big shark, nor dangerous (apparently!), but I'm not too ashamed to say that I all but wet myself as I turned and swam as fast as I ever have in all my life.
