I traveled around Australia and New Zealand and I walked the Camino de Santiago. Live in Bruges now, together with my girlfriend. :)

ABOUT ME/US

I graduated as a journalist and my girlfriend is a lawyer. I am passionate about news, Soccer, photography and traveling. We try to travel as much as possible and meet new people, take cool pictures etc.

I Couch surfed a lot in the past but nowadays I host most of the times.

Traveling is my life and this combined with my passion and hobby is the ultimate. Meet new people is a positive side effect of couch surfing and travel. Every person has a story and I'd like to hear everything about it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I traveled from Belgium to Russia by train. In each country I met some people and couchsurfed with them. It was a lot of fun and once I will do this again (but to other countries). I CS in Spain, France, Australia, NZ and the Netherlands as well. It's a Great way to explore new cultures.

Interests

I'm very interested in news, Soccer, photography, art and culture. Just about everything actually... We read a lot and I can not imagine a life without music. We LOVE food: preparing it and eating it. Discovering new places and cultures and making new friends is what we try to do as much as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do not know very much about movies, but my girlfriend does. I read a lot, fiction and non fiction. We do have a lot of books at our home. Most of Them in Dutch, we're sorry. We also have a vintage turntable! I often listen to Dutch music and golden oldies, but have much more in my collection.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1 is not enough: Moscow and the Karhunkieros in Lapland (Finland) were great! New Zealand and Australia. The Camino: walking from The Netherlands to Santiago de Compostela (Muxia), in Spain and walking 'De dodentocht', a hike of 100km within 24 hours.
