ABOUT ME

Hey Hey,

There are two of us using this profile. Benny and Lou. We are a couple, in our early 30s. Lou's from London and Benny is from Canada (although has been in England most of his life). We have 2 Kids (Ezekiel 3.5yrs and Dinah 1.5yrs) who we spend far too much time gushing over.

Lou is a Barrister and Benny teaches kids aged 5-11 with autism, that is when he's not playing guitars or rolling BJJ.

Lou loves dancing, going out, having fun with friends (all the usual boring hobbies you don't want to put on your CV).

We both love to travel when we can and have covered a fair bit of ground between us. On our honeymoon we drove and camped all over Europe, our last big trip we took the train from London to Hong Kong and we recently spent 4 months in the hills of Granada.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We love to host and be hosted. We also enjoy showing people around if we are not available to host.

We particularly like to host people who are traveling, rather than on a weekend break, as it is nice to be somewhere homely when you have been away from home for a while. In particular we are able to host other parents and children.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have stayed with a few people, but have probably had more people come stay with us as we were new to Couchsurfing last time we traveled.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ben's top 3: Caught a 10 foot milky shark off Nova Scotia, taught nursery in Pakistan, trained Taekwon-do in South Korea.

Lou's top 3: Scuba'd the red sea (bell's blue hole is a must!), Jumped out of a plane in the Hungarian countryside, followed the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia and watched the falling stars in Wadi Rum.

Teach, Learn, Share

Ben can show you some guitar moves, take you through some Taekwon-do patterns or roll BJJ. Lou can offer free legal advice or show you how to knit a lovely scarf. Ben'd like to learn how to cook your favorite local dish. Lou knows everything already (yeah right!).
