ABOUT ME

Traveling is the most addictive, wonderful thing.

Since I left Italy to spend an High School year in Texas I haven't been able to stay in one place for too long and spend the past few years traveling in and outside Europe, pushing myself as far as New Zealand.

I am now back in Milan, enjoying my time at home before the next trip. Ring me up if you're in town and I'll show you around!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, I can't host at the moment, but I'm more than keen to show you around Milan! Wanna have a taste of the best 'aperitivo' in Milan or explore the city by night? You've got it!

I might even join you in one of your backpacking adventures (or vice-versa?)!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed chez Ludo in Montpellier and it's been a very positive experience. Having some difficulties in finding a flat, my host let me stay for a whole week and I'll never be grateful enough. I've also met up with quite a few people for a coffee or a drink, while showing them the cool and interesting sides of Wellington (NZ) and Milan.

兴趣

I love anything related to arts, from music to theater. When I'm not running around looking for something exciting things to do I enjoy laying on a green park (especially on a sunny day), eating lots of gelato (or any kind of food really, as long as there's chocolate, cheese or soy sauce), hiking, and the list goes on and on!

I have a real passion for foreign languages and the next ones on the list are Mandarin Chinese and Brazilian Portuguese.

I have to admit, not very sporty, but I do enjoy outdoor activities and I can definitely pull out some moves on the dance floor.

Favorite book: Dracula, by Bram Stoker, the Harry Potter saga and Mitch Albom's Tuesdays with Morrie and The Five People you Meet in Heaven.

Music: everything but pop. Rock, punk, grunge, ska, reggae, R&B, D&B, dubstep, bluegrass... and well, it depends on the band of course!

Movies: Tarantino and Almodòvar are among my favorite directors. I love independent movies and all Pixar creations!

I could say that I saw a UFO once, but after a while my granny and I realized that it was just the light of a crane blinking in the dark...

I want to learn how to cook new, foreign dishes, speak new languages, how to play the guitar, and above all I want to learn the "essence" of new cultures.

Everyone can teach something just by sharing stories and experiences. I can teach you a little bit about the Italian culture, especially that of Milan (this is quite a complex subject matter tho, as I don't define myself as the typical "Milanese girl"), how to cook some Italian dishes, and of course how to truly appreciate real gelato :-)
