Music, Movies, and Books

favourite music at the moment is Michael Jackson - i know, i'm sorry, but i've only just really listend to him and he's great! also like ska, punk, classical, jazz, blues, and so on
My favourite books at the moment are Bruno Latour 'Reconstructing the Social' which is a fantastic remedy to all the university 'training' in western philosophy i've had so far, and John Le Carre's Absolute Friends, which can't be beaten for its mixture of fast paced thrills with seething rage at modern geo-politics. great stuff!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once slaughtered a pig in a cloud forrest in Costa Rica and ate its heart, liver and kidneys fried with onions and garlic for breakfast- it was not as gross as it sounds. strangely liberating, a release of the primeval urge connecting us with other animals... once is enough, though, i think.
