Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I have only couchsurfed twice so far. In Vancouver when I first arrived in the city and in Clermont Ferrand (France) for a few days. I have excellent memories of these few exchanges. I haven't had the opportunity to be more active on the platform since then but I intend to change that !!

Couchsurfing is a great platform to meet people you wouldn't otherwise meet. Let's exchange to open up, question what we thought was true, remake the world, laugh and share unforgettable moments of life.

Centres d'intérêt

I am passionate about art and music.

- Museums: art impresionists, Flemish painters, surrealists.

- Music: everything from gospel to electro, from jazz to french songs. I like protest music, songs with strong messages - Bod Dylan, Bob Marley, Nina Simone, Brassens... I have been a pianist since my childhood so music has always been part of my identity. I spend most of my money (after rent and food of course) on concerts. My fondest memory is definitely Aretha Franklin's concert in Michigan in 2017 where I was completely stunned by the genius of this woman!

- Literature: I usually have a book in my bag at all times. A lot of French literature, "classics" but also Japanese, American and European literature. I like psychological novels, adventure novels and especially travel stories. Reading is the first opening to the world. It was the book of an adventurer called Ludovic Hubler that made me want to register Couchsurfing. He hitchhiked around the world for 5 years - it's also one of my big dreams, I hope to have the courage to do it one day.

I went on a road trip before the covid in Asia alone to get completely out of my comfort zone. An unforgettable moment that I will never forget - neither the encounters with the Thai people, nor the Nepalese monuments, nor the Indian humanitarian communities.
