ABOUT ME

My name is Ben Connell, I am 21 years old and come from Belfast, Northern Ireland. I lived with my 4 sisters and mum untill last year when I moved to Sheffield in England to study Contemporary Fine Art at Sheffield Hallam University.

Most of my time is spent making To-Do lists and then going off and doing them. These are fun and usually result in a good talking point for the dinner table.

I enjoy making stories for my art and think i am always able to use traveling for art work. And this is what intrigues me about CS- being it a real life experience, meeting and living with people from another background than you will hopefully develope my knowledge of life and improve my art work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was refered to this website by a man i met from Michigan, USA in Auntie Annies, a pub in Belfast city centre. And as i wish to travel now I think couch surfering will give me a better chance to understand countries I may visit when doing so.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I Have never hosted or traveled using couch surfing before now, but intend to do so in the future. And hopefully then I can bring to the CS community another scope into your traveling experience.

Interests

I like lots of stuff and I am always active. Main Hobbies include walking, skateboarding, unicycling and when I am at home either cooking, listening to music or sometimes knitting.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a very musical family and music is a big part of my life too but unfortunately I can not play any instruments very well, though I am practicing the drums at the moment and one day I will be better than Joe (my flat mate).

Concerts I have been to recently have been Monotonix, Wild Beasts and The Joy Formidable who supported the Howling Bells.

My main interests in music are Folk and Pop because I also like to dance.
