Hi, I’m Ben! I’m a computer programmer and just-for-fun writer living in Berlin. I love reading and learning, but I also try to spend time outside appreciating the incredibly beautiful city I’m spending the best years of my life in. To get my body moving, I play basketball, I run, and I love to go dancing. I also sometimes model for my friends projects, cause they say I look sporty (check my pics for some old photo shoots!)

On the weekends, I play music in clubs, parks, and other strange places. I’m a big fan of older music, disco, classic detroit and chicago house, and groovy african dance music.

I started a party called Dazed and Confused, bringing deep house and techno to the city I used to live in, which needed some musical variety and a cool place for weird people to be themselves.

I’m a big fan of letting your freak flag fly, and I try to encourage the lovely people around me to be as weird on the outside as they are on the inside, because life’s too short to pretend, and the people who matter most will appreciate your quirks.

I love meeting people, and I like to get a local perspective when I travel. I don't need fancy hotels, expensive meals, or anything like that, I'm all about the journey itself, and I think it's best when you can share it with cool, like-minded people. I want to travel light, and open my doors to others who would like to explore the world for less money.
