Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite is Grup Yorum which plays Turkish protest music. I also listen to Goran Bregovic, Christy Moore, Cranberries, Katie Melua, Oh Land, Mark Eliyahu, Altin Gun, etc...
Balkan movies are the best. Drama and fun is always one withing the other. Emir Kustarica is my favourite.
I am into books. I read history, phylosophy, politics and classics. I recently read Boby Sands: nothing but an unfinished song, siddharta and the country under my skin. Anton Makarenko, Ilya Ehrenburg, Yaşar Kemal, Nazım Hikmet and Galina Serebryakova are some of my favourite writers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I go homeless for two weeks in Anchorage/Alaska (2005).
One week motorhome experience in Alaska for revenge!(2014).
Enjoying Sento in Tokyo.
Driving car in Lima/Peru (going for a walk alone in a wild jungle is less dangerous!!!)
Teach, Learn, Share
Well. Nothing special. I can teach how to throw tear gas capsules back to cops, how to flip over crepes in the air, how to spin the ball using outer side of your foot, how to use a hammer drill or how to dive buttfirst into the water...
When it comes to learning i am always open to new ideas and adventures.
