Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to meet an Aussie and a nihilist.
ABOUT ME
I'm an undergrad linguistics student at UC Santa Cruz. I'm going to Spain in August '08 until February '09. I'm not really sure what to expect or where to keep my paper money, but I know it'll be a lot of fun.
PHILOSOPHY
"Live and let live" mixed with "treat others how you would want to be treated" mixed with "let the wookie win" with some "son of neurotic parents" sprinkled on top.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've never done it before. I think it has the potential to be absolutely excellent. I think it's great that people are opening up their lives/households/schedules for complete strangers.
Interests
Rock climbing, bicycle riding, music (playing and listening), breathing, camping, linguistics, the 1960's.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really like the Grateful Dead, The Who, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin (to me they're the big four). I also really enjoy jazz and latin music too.
I recently saw No Country For Old Men and There Will Be Blood; they were good but too "Oscar-pretentious"
I've been reading The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Tests since March; who knows when I'll finish it?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I climbed Tahquitz in August, the swallows that lived at the top of the rock would glide the wind currents and occasionally dive-bomb. The noises the air-resistance made was completely new to me.
