About Me

Hi! My name is Bruno, I am 30 years old, I am from Portugal but I am currently living and working in Utrecht, Netherlands. You can think of me as an open minded, honest, caring and friendly person.

In my youth I used to be this introvert kind of guy that would only spend time with his group of close friends, or at home either reading or playing video games. Nowadays, I am more of a social person. I like to share a meal with friends, to have friends over at my place, to go out for a drink, to go to the cinema, to go for a walk, to go for a small or long trip either alone or with friends, among many other things. I also enjoy having a good conversation with someone. It can either be about nonsense or more serious stuff. I mostly like when people share experiences from which I can learn something new or that make me look at things from another perspective. Specially on Couchsurfing that can happen very easily since I get to know so many new people. Besides that, I also like to watch movies / series, to read books, to listen to music, to cook, to eat and to create new software applications.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I lived in Portugal, one of my flatmates started hosting people. Most of the times I would join him and his guests for a meal, a conversation, a city tour, etc. Those moments were always super interesting, enriching and fun. Besides that, I got to know my city better and to look at it with other eyes. Later on, I also started hosting and my first guest ended up becoming a good friend of mine since by coincidence I moved to the same city where she was living. So basically I am on Couchsurfing because I want to continue experiencing and enjoying those kind of moments.
